I savor my senses in nature:

Take a few moments today to sit outside in nature. Start by taking a few conscious breaths—inhale for a count of four and exhale for a count of four. Clear your mind and let go of any thoughts. What senses come to you first?

What do you see? Observe the color of the leaves on the trees or the flowers in bloom.

What do you hear? Listen for the birds in the trees, the sounds of a nearby stream, or faint conversations in the background.

Continue with the sense of smell and taste.

I create a sacred space in my home and office:

Create a dedicated space in your home for stillness and reflection. Find a sweet spot that is quiet and feels right. This area can serve as a place for meditation, honoring, and setting intentions.

In my sacred space, I have also arranged an altar with crystals, stones, flowers, candles, and oracle cards that I draw from each week. It’s a place I cherish for replenishment and renewal.

Earthing:

Earthing, also known as grounding, is an ancient practice that connects your body, mind, and spirit to the Earth. You can practice earthing by standing barefoot or lying on the grass—essentially anything that allows your body to connect with the ground directly.

I have found that lying on rocks or swimming in a river, ocean, or lake are excellent ways to “wash” away negative energy. If you don’t want to do a full swim, simply immersing your feet in water can be very effective.

Take a few deep and intentional breaths, and “let go” of that which no longer serves you.

Eat fruits and vegetables that coincide with the seasons:

Ayurveda teaches us to eat with the seasons — balancing body and mind by choosing the foods nature offers right now. What grows in each season is medicine made just for you.

🌱 Spring: leafy greens, broccoli, berries
🔥 Summer: cucumbers, melons, mint
🍂 Fall: sweet potatoes, apples, oats
❄️ Winter: root veggies, citrus, warming spices

I breathe deeply when feeling anxious or overwhelmed-Breathe into calm:

When anxiety shows up, your body thinks it’s in danger. Deep breathing tells your nervous system, “You’re safe now.” It shifts you from stress to calm, from chaos to clarity.

Try an Affirmation like this: With every breath, I return to peace. I am safe at this moment.

Prompt or Practice:Take 3 slow, deep breaths. Inhale through your nose for a count of 4.
Hold for 4. Exhale gently through your mouth for 6.
